Meet Alyssa
Once a geologist. Now a functional nutritionist.
I spent years as a field geologist trained to trace problems back to their source and follow the evidence. Then, for two years, I lived with chronic pain and fatigue no one could explain, doing everything "right" and watching my health slip. A diagnosis of Ankylosing Spondylitis, an autoimmune condition, finally made things make sense.
In November 2024 I left consulting and became a certified Functional Nutrition Counselor. Now I help people do what I had to figure out on my own: understand their body, advocate for themselves, and find a version of health that actually holds.
My philosophy
You are not broken.
My core belief is simple: people are not broken. They're uninformed, underserved, or overwhelmed. Your body isn't working against you. It's signaling, adapting, asking for support. When you learn to read those signals, everything changes.
The wellness world runs on urgency and fear. I don't. There is no perfect protocol, only what works for your body at this stage of your life. So we slow down, start with one thing, and build from there.
And teaching is how I care for people. I want you to leave every session understanding your body better. Able to ask sharper questions, read your own labs, and work alongside your doctors, not against them. Nutrition adds a layer they may not have time to address, that's where I come in.
Your version of health starts here.
